About CAT Technology

In 1993, CAT Technology was founded to meet the growing need for solutions and services during the infancy of the Internet. As demand steadily increased, the firm quickly became well known in Silicon Valley for astute engineering skills and a commitment to customer service.

In 1996, the original founders worked hard at enhancing engineering capabilities and expanding strategic relationships with leading technology vendors. Strong ties were forged with Cisco Systems, Sun Microsystems, Oracle Corporation, VERITAS Software, Hitachi Data Systems, Brocade and StorageTek. Once the highest levels of engineering certifications had been attained, CAT began designing and deploying high-end, mission-critical infrastructures to a vast array of well-known companies.

CAT Technology has designed and deployed hundreds of complex infrastructures. A short list of customers include ChevronTexaco, Brocade, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Virgin Mobile USA, Federal Reserve Bank, PG&E, Walmart, and WebEx.

In 1999, CAT Technology was named the second fastest growing private company in Silicon Valley by the San Jose/Silicon Valley Business Journal. Last year, CAT Technology was named the largest computer reseller in the Bay Area by the San Francisco Business Times. CAT Technology continues its mission to service customers with technical expertise, intimate customer service and superior IT value.

CAT Technology is a privately held corporation based in Los Gatos, California. Additional offices are located in San Francisco, Sacramento, Danville, and Costa Mesa. Principal investors include Sutter Hill Ventures and Trident Capital.
